only half the job.
If your vehicle was built in roughly the last decade, there is a camera looking through your windshield running lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and adaptive cruise. Move the glass that camera aims through and its calibration is no longer correct.
Plenty of installers hand the keys back and hope no warning light comes on. We do the recalibration — static with targets in the shop, dynamic on the road, or both, depending on what the manufacturer requires for your vehicle.
Very few shops between here and the interstate cities do this in house. For Moultrie drivers that is the difference between one appointment and a second trip to Albany, Valdosta, or Tallahassee.

Can I just drive in, or do I need an appointment?
You can drive in and we will look at it and give you a straight answer on the spot. For a full windshield replacement we would rather you call first with your year, make, and model so we can confirm we have the right glass on the shelf before you are sitting in the lobby.
Do you do the ADAS recalibration here in the shop?
Yes. We run static calibration with targets on a level floor in our own bay and dynamic calibration on the road, depending on what your manufacturer requires. We are one of very few shops in this part of Georgia that does it in house rather than sending you to Albany or Valdosta.
How long will my vehicle be in the shop?
Figure 60 to 90 minutes for a windshield replacement, plus roughly another hour if your vehicle needs a recalibration. Safe drive-away time depends on the urethane and the weather that day and we will quote it per job — usually an hour minimum.
Do you handle tractor and combine cab glass?
We do, and it is a real part of our business. Tractor and combine cab glass, skid steer and loader glass, and heavy truck windshields — cut, sourced, and installed, including on site during harvest when the machine cannot come to town.
Does my insurance cover a windshield in Georgia?
Georgia does not require insurers to waive your deductible on glass, so it depends on your policy. Windshield damage falls under comprehensive coverage. Many carriers do cover chip repair at no cost to you because it is cheaper for them than a replacement later. We are an approved provider with most major carriers — name us when they ask which shop and they send the claim straight to us.
